Help with Links

Let us know if you can't find the page you're trying to link to.

There are three types of links that you can create:

You can also remove links but keep the text.

Linking to Pages on the CNM Website

Here's how to create an internal link to a page on cnm.edu:

  1. Highlight the text that you want to link.

  2. Click the Insert/edit link button.

  3. The menu that populates will have five tabs and default to the Internal tab. The menu will also default to the "Current path" (because it is likely you will be inserting a link from the area of the website you're already on, the system will help your search for the link by having you start from the page you're editing).

  4. To select an item to link to, click on the item's text. If an item has a folder icon next to it, this means you can navigate to to the items within that folder by clicking on the folder.

  5. Once you've selected your item its name will appear under the "Current path" menu. Click Insert to finish.

*Always link to pages on the CNM site through the Internal link option. Never link to CNM pages using the External link option.
