Adding, Editing and Deleting a Form Field
How to add and edit various form fields. Form fields function as ways to collect data from the individual filling out the form.
Adding a Field
- After creating your form folder, select Contents from the side menu to see the contents of your form folder.
- In the example above, you can see that my test folder contains six different fields, which can be edited. These fields collect information; other fields of similar nature can be added.
- To add a new field, select Add new... from the side menu and the field you'd like to add.
- All fields will include a Field Label or Title at the top and a Save button at the bottom. Some fields may contain a Required checkbox if you require people to respond to the field. When this is selected, when the new field appears on your form, it will have a red dot next to it, indicating to the user they must fill out this field to proceed.
Editing and Deleting a Field
- Navigate to your form folder and select Contents from the side menu.
- Select the item you wish to edit.
- Select Edit from the side menu.
- Make your changes and click Save.
- To delete a field, repeat step 1 in this section, select the field you wish to delete, and then choose Actions --> Delete from the side menu.
- You will receive an additional message to ensure you want to delete the item. Select either Delete or Cancel.
