Alternative Teacher Licensure Application - Part 1
This form serves as your official application to the CNM Alternative Teacher Licensure Program.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and will be screened within 14 business days of receipt of a completed application. Applications and supporting documents - including passing assessment scores - must be received by the application deadline.
Cohorts will begin in Fall, Spring and Summer term.
Complete applications must be received by December 1st to be considered for a Spring start date.
Complete applications must be received by April 15th to be considered for Summer start date.
Complete applications must be received by August 1st to be considered for Fall start date.
High Need Areas: CNM strives to fill the needs of area schools by giving priority to candidates who are qualified to teach in designated high need areas. We are currently recruiting teachers in the areas of special education, secondary math and science, and bilingual elementary.

After you complete this form, be sure to do the following:
1) Have all your transcripts submitted to the CNM Records Office. Your application cannot be processed until all transcripts are on file. When CNM receives your transcript, you will receive an email to your CNM email account. If you do not receive this email after 1 week, contact the Records Office to confirm whether the transcript was received.
2) Submit Part 2 of the Application: Transcript Analysis Form for either Early Childhood/Elementary/Special Education or Secondary Education.
