ACE / Smith Brasher (OCL)

The Assistance Center for Education ( ACE ) Smith Brasher Open Computer Lab ( OCL ) at Main campus support student success in the Business & Information Technology programs. The ( OCL ) is a resource for Business & Information Technology students to complete homework assignments, research projects, practice skills, and work on distance learning classes. Students also receive assistance with computer course work and accounting applications (QuickBooks/Sage50). The OCL is an extension of the classroom, the OCL is available for related class work only. Open computer labs elsewhere are available for personal work such as email.

Students can receive assistance in accounting applications (QuickBooks/Sage50), IT 1010, multimedia, and can practice their keyboarding skills.

Resources Available in the Open Computer Lab (OCL):

  • Support on Microsoft and multimedia applications (Including Adobe products), Macintosh, and accounting software

  • Challenge Exams (Keyboarding practice)

  • Assistance with Blackboard

  • Scanners, printers, copier, Wacom (graphic pen & tablet)
