The classes will meet in CNM’s new STEMulus Center in Downtown Albuquerque.

“This program is designed for people who work full time, don’t have much time for school and want to further their education to advance their careers, acquire skills to get a promotion or get a degree fast,” said Tom Darling, CNM STEMulus Center project manager and business instructor in the School of Business & Information Technology. “It’s a great learning opportunity, especially for those who work Downtown.”

The program is taught by highly qualified instructors with a background working in the industry. The fast- track format was designed by full-time faculty members who will work as a team to integrate and teach the curriculum using the Competency Based Education approach. In a fast track degree, classes are offered over a seven-and-a-half week period with a mixture of in-person and online components. The classes are fast-paced and offered in half the time of a standard class.

As part of the program, dinner will be provided each Tuesday and Thursday class night, and students will receive digital tablets that will contain all of the textbooks and instructional materials needed for the courses. Classes will be in state-of-the-art classrooms at the STEMulus Center and students will be paired with a faculty mentor throughout the program.

The Fast Track Business Administration Degree program starts Oct. 17 with pre-program classes beginning Aug. 25.

Applications for the program are now available at The STEMulus Center website. You can also contact Theresa Torres in the CNM School of Business and Information Technology at ttorres57@cnm.edu or (505) 224-3811 for more information.
