The CNM Foundation hosted officials from Wells Fargo on June 1 for the dedication of two wooden benches handcrafted by students that have a new home in the Student Resource Center. The benches, made by CNM carpentry students under the guidance of AT instructional technician Joseph Hirschfeld and instructor Tom George, were dedicated in honor of Wells Fargo for its 20 years of support to the CNM Foundation.

The benches were made of wood harvested from trees that formerly stood on the site of the SRC. The sustainable use of the wood will also earn CNM points toward LEED certification of the SRC.

CNM President Kathie Winograd, CNM Foundation Board President J.J. Parsons and CNM Foundation Executive Director Lisa McCulloch joined Wells Fargo community relations director Jennifer Riordan in addressing an enthusiastic crowd that included a party of Wells Fargo representatives, along with numerous staff, faculty and students.
