On Wednesday (July 14), the public is invited to learn about and express their opinions on a new study being led by the Mid-Region Council of Governments that is examining the transportation needs of both CNM and the University of New Mexico.

The forums will be held from noon-1 p.m. and again at 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the UNM Student Union Building in Lobo Room A. The "Travel Demand Management Study" will explore the current and future transportation needs of CNM and UNM, and identify ways to increase transportation efficiency. The goals of the study are to define ways to reduce problems such as traffic congestion, parking issues, travel costs and related environmental impacts.
