If you are a part-time faculty member, your last paycheck for full-term courses taught in the 2011 fall term will be issued to you on Jan. 20, 2012. As a part-time instructor, you are paid on an Equal Pay Basis, which means the total dollar amount on your Letter of Appointment (LOA) is divided equally among the scheduled pay periods for each term. For part-time instructors teaching the full, 15-week term for the 2012 spring term, pay will be distributed equally among 10 pay periods. The paydays for part-time instructors teaching the full 15 weeks of the 2012 spring term will be:

February 3
February 17
March 2
March 16
March 30 (3rd paycheck of the month – no voluntary deductions, such as insurance, taken out)
April 13
April 27
May 11
May 25
June 8

Part-of-term contracts are paid by the course dates included in the LOA.

Letters of Appointment (LOA) for 2012 Spring Term
Letters of Appointment are scheduled to be issued during the week of January 23, 2012. Faculty members have two e-mail accounts with CNM, a "myCNM" account and a "Microsoft Outlook" account. LOAs will be sent to your Outlook account from Jeff Medina in Human Resources. His e-mail address is wmedina1@cnm.edu. The subject line will read "Spring Contracts due back..." To avoid any interruptions in receiving your pay, please return the signed LOA as soon as possible, and no later than Friday, February 3, 2012. Faculty members who teach for more than one school will be receiving their LOAs individually and at different times. LOAs are distributed by school. If you have questions, please contact Human Resources at (505) 224-4600.
