Beginning in the fall term, CNM will transition to a new emergency notification system called "AttentionCNM" that interacts with the CNM Banner system. Every CNM employee and student with a current record in Banner will be automatically enrolled in the new emergency notification system, which is being provided by Rave Wireless, Inc.

In the case of an emergency or other important college-wide communication, texts and e-mails will be sent to the phone numbers and e-mails currently listed in Banner. If you do not wish to receive emergency texts from CNM, you can opt-out of the text portion of the service. When the system becomes available, users should login to the new system to verify that their contact information is correct and adjust preferences if they desire. Each user can provide more than one phone number and e-mail. Early next week, CNM will begin rolling out the service to users, beginning with faculty and staff. You will receive an e-mail notification with login information.

AttentionCNM will be an important component of CNM's college-wide emergency notification system. It will work in conjunction with emergency voicemail delivery to college phones and emergency notifications on the main CNM website. AttentionCNM will also be used when the college is forced to close or operate on abbreviated schedules due to weather or other unforeseen events. Once the system is fully launched, your account will be accessible through myCNM.

CNM's current emergency alert text system, NotifyAll, will be phased out later in the fall term.
