Inspire Students to Graduate on Graduation Inspiration Day Oct. 9

Sep 27, 2018

Graduation Inspiration Day is Tuesday, Oct. 9, when CNM faculty and staff come to campus with a common cause – inspiring students to graduate. This year, the Graduation Inspiration committee is striving to have every CNM employee participating by either wearing graduation regalia or CNM shirts to show their support for Graduation Inspiration. All employees will also receive a Graduation Inspiration button to wear. Employees are encouraged to share stories with students about how graduating from college impacted their lives.

For departments that enjoy a little healthy competition, teams of employees are encouraged to decorate their graduation caps (must provide your own) with a team theme. Teams can then submit a picture of their caps to on Oct. 9. The winning team will get a pizza party.

There will be flash advising stations from 10 a.m.-noon at all campuses to help students apply for graduation – they can also have a degree audit done that checks a student’s progress toward graduation. Additionally, the “Magic Mirror” photo booth will be on Main Campus near the JS and L buildings for employees and students to take fun photos.

Graduation regalia will be available for check out at the Dean of Students Office on Main Campus in the Student Services Center from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. from Oct. 1-8. Questions? Contact Erica Volkers at or 224-4000 ext. 51667.
