CNM Security Hosting Activities Next Week to Celebrate National Campus Safety Awareness Month

Sept. 21, 2017 -- CNM Security will be hosting various activities next week for students, faculty and staff to learn more about campus safety as part of National Campus Security Awareness Month.

All are invited to stop by a Security Open House in the Public Safety Building on Main Campus on Monday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., to meet the staff that provide safety and security for CNM.

On Tuesday, Sept. 26, you can learn about CNM’s Annual Security Report and how to stay safe on campus during a forum on Main Campus in Smith Brasher Hall, Room 213, from 9-10 a.m. or 2-3 p.m.

Have a Conversation with a Security Officer
On Wednesday, Sept. 27, people are encouraged to have a “Conversation with a Security Officer” anytime from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. in the following locations:

Advanced Technology Center lobby
Main Campus Smith Brasher Hall lobby
Montoya Campus H Building food court
Rio Rancho Campus lobby
South Valley Campus, SV-I lobby
Westside Campus MJG Building near Security Office
Workforce Training Center lobby.

Visit with Security Chief John Corvino at Montoya, Westside & South Valley Campuses
On Wednesday, Sept. 27, and Thursday, Sept. 28, CNM Chief of Security John Corvino will be visiting the following campuses to discuss Security topics:

Wednesday, Sept. 27, 8-10 a.m., Montoya Campus H Building food court
Wednesday, Sept. 27, 1-3 p.m., Westside Campus MJG Building near Security Office
Thursday, Sept. 28, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., South Valley Campus.
