Check Out Several Updates to Parking at CNM

Oct. 5, 2017 -- Here are some important parking updates and regulations that must be adhered to on CNM campuses:

  • All vehicles parking on CNM property, including all CNM campuses, are required to display a valid parking permit. See Parking Services website for up-to-date information.
  • Go Green Parking Permits are now available at the Parking Services Office in the Public Safety Building. Go Green permits are required to park in the low-emitting fuel-efficient spaces throughout campus. Visit the parking website to see if your car qualifies or come in to Parking Services with your vehicle registration and valid ID, and we will help you.
  • Enforcement hours have changed, North Lot, Central Lot and JS Lot are now enforced Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All other lots are still open on Fridays.
  • Paid permits for the Fall Term are available online for $37.50. They will be valid for the remainder of the term.
  • Vendors and contractors are required to display a permit. Permits for contractors and vendors are $2 per day and can be picked up at the Cashier’s Office.
  • As per the State of New Mexico, disabled veterans (DV) license plates are no longer valid to park in handicap spaces unless the DV license plate has the wheelchair symbol on it or a handicap placard is displayed. Violators will be ticketed.
