CNM uses the Plone Content Management System to publish content to its public facing websites.


CNM uses TinyMCE for editing content inside of Plone.


CMS how-to guides are available in documentation.

Workshop training is available regularly and is required before access to the CMS will be granted. These workshops are also available for contributors wanting refreshers.

Support for User Environments

Plone supports the following browsers for editing content:

  • Internet Explorer 8+
  • Mozilla and Firefox: 1.0+
  • Opera 9+
  • Safari 3+
  • Chrome 0.2+
  • Limitations

Custom Flash, Javascript, and CSS are not approved for inclusion into site content by Content Administrators or Content Contributors.

Contributors will not have access to the raw markup of their content, nor will they be able to add inline CSS to their pages. All element inclusion and styling must be handled through the approved WYSIWYG editor (TinyMCE).
