Session B11

6th Annual CNM Conference on Teaching and Learning

EdReady for Adult and Developmental Education

Cash Clifton (Mathematics, MSE, CNM); Terri Gustafson (Adult Basic Education, SAGE, CNM)

Agave, 1:00-2:15

EdReady is a free instructional technology tool that provides individual student learning paths based on adaptive assessment. Content is currently available for mathematics and will be available for language arts in early 2018. Cash and Terri will teach users how to navigate instructor and student accounts, share available curriculum, and discuss how various institutions and states are using EdREady. There will also be a brief discussion of how this tool is being successfully implemented and used around the United States, including the emporium model, co-requisite model, course placement, homework in traditional instruction, and HSE test preparation. Participants will leave the workshop with the ability to create an instructor account, develop curriculum, and enroll students. Mobile devices are recommended, but not necessary, for this session.
