Water in the Desert (#CNMWitD) is a hands-on learning project centered on water resources management.

Water in the Desert (#CNMWitD) is a hands-on learning project centered on water resources management. It consists of service learning opportunities directed by the Sustainability Curriculum Committee and the Physical Plant Department. Students may earn a Sustainability Certificate by providing at least 8 hours of water resources related service to CNM in two different ways:

  1. Through service-learning that is a part of existing course curriculum (instructor must give permission in advance), or 
  2. on their own as an individual project (not related a course).

Access to the Films

  1. Go to YouTube.com and search the film title in the search box.
  2. Films on Demand
    1. Go to the library homepage at CNM
    2. Scroll down on this page and look under the subheading 'resources' until you get to DATABASES. Click on this term.
    3. On the database page, scroll down until you see the 'Database by Subject' region and then look for the term FILMS AND MEDIA. Click on this link.
    4. Under 'Films and Media' click on FILMS ON DEMAND.
    5. Enter the movie title of choice into the search box.
