Our non-profit, CNM Ingenuity, provides accelerated educational opportunities in key workforce areas. In learning focused skillsets, you can quickly enter the job market.

Some of the many offerings from CNM Ingenuity include:

  • Deep Dive Coding: become a digital media specialist or software engineer in 10-12 weeks.
  • FUSE Makerspace: take a workshop in woodwork, metal fabrication or 3D printing. Create your ideas on site.
  • IGNITE Community Accelerator: learn how to run your business in a 10-week course.

We acknowledge the needs of all adult learners. Develop skills to pass the High School Equivalency Exam (HiSET/GED), prepare for college or improve your English. 

CNM's School of Adult & General Education (SAGE) has programs in:

  • Adult Basic Education (ABE): Take classes in English as a Second Language (ESL) and HiSET/GED preparation.
  • Developmental Education (DE): Prepare for college with classes in Integrated Reading and Writing, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Math.

  • Connect Services: An Academic Coach will help you pick a major and choose your classes. Connect Services also assists in developing strong writing and interviewing skills.
  • Assistance Centers for Education (ACE): Get instructional support and tutoring services.
  • TRIO Student Support Services: For low-income, disabled and first-generation college students, TRIO can support you. Services include coaching, tutoring, leadership development, personal counseling and financial aid guidance. 
  • Distance Learning: Educate yourself according to your schedule. Online courses are taught by CNM faculty and maintain the same standards as those taught in the classroom.
  • LGBTQ+ at CNM: We welcome students who identify in the LGBTQ+ spectrum. LGBTQ+ at CNM hosts several monthly events and initiatives to increase LGBTQ+ visibility on campus
